Music Monday: Thinking of You by Katy Perry**

What is up with time running past me so fast? Oh well, I guess I really can't do anything much about how quickly time flies by. Anyway, it's time for Music Monday!

I love Katy Perry, because not only is she gorgeous, she is her own individual. I love her music, it's really hard to explain why. I can't really relate to any of her songs, but then I love her songs.

Anyway, this song of hers is one I most definitely can't relate to, thank God for that. I have never really been caught in between a love triangle before, not that I would have liked that, but I mean, can you just imagine the stress? It would be like the Edward-Bella-Jacob mess, and I certainly don't need that. You can say that my pick for this week is a bit Twilight-ish, I am re-reading the Twilight Series, and I am currently in Part 2 of Breaking Dawn, why am I re-reading? Well, because June is almost here and I want to prepare myself for the coming of Eclipse in theaters. I want to be as objective as I possibly can without Taylor Lautner making me biased because he gives Jacob Black so much more justice, not like Robert Pattinson... Okay okay, I will stop my rant about Twilight now, sorry about that.

So anyway, here's Katy Perry with a song she calls Thinking of You, which seems kinda New Moon-ish to me, I imagine this was how Bella was feeling during the time when she was with Jacob and Edward left her.

I hope you liked the song! Anyway, happy Music Monday folks! Don't forget to check out my pick over at Life According to Me.

Music Monday: Possibility by Lykke Li**

I am still feeling a bit gloomy this Monday morning. Why?

Well, here's a list of why I am in such a sad state:

1. Today, I will visit the dentist yet again and she'll let me know if I need anymore extensive and painful dental work or I can go home.

2. My blogoversary contest has been indefinitely postponed because I haven't had the time to actually write down the rules and finalize my sponsors. If you want to sponsor me, please leave me a comment and I will get back to you as soon as I am able.

3. B is still upset with me and we haven't talked in a while.

Anyway, I hope you have a better week ahead. Here's a song from the New Moon soundtrack, which is sad, but I so love it and it's even sadder that I can relate to it as of this moment because "my Edward" is mad at me.

Don't forget to check out my Life According to Me for my Music Monday pick. Happy Music Monday everyone!

Twilight Saga: New Moon*

I realize that this post is like 2 weeks late, but I'm going to write it anyway.

So, 2 weeks ago, I forced asked B to watch the latest installment to the Twilight Saga, which is New Moon, before that I forced him to watch Twilight first, so he'll at least have an idea about how the story goes. I have been wanting to see this movie ever since Shemah showed the trailer over at her blog, Just Press Play. I loved the trailer, I loved how Jacob Black turned into a wolf and all that, it seemed amazing. You wouldn't believe how long the queue was for the movie, B and I saw it the day after it came out here, I was that anxious to see it, that I was actually willing to stand in line, for hours just to get tickets and then stand in line again just to get good seats. Luckily for B and I, we caught the last full show of the theater, so we didn't have to line up to go inside the theater, although the queue on the ticket booth was loooong, here take a look.

Although I must say, I was a bit disappointed with how the movie turned out, somehow, I expected so much more. You know the awesome trailer I talked about earlier? Well, that was it, I mean a trailer was supposed to show what you should expect in the movie, and I must say, the trailer was way better than how the movie turned out. You know the awesome scenes from the movie? That was it. It doesn't get any better than that, that was, well, that was it. Nothing more, which was kinda disappointing because I thought there would have been more, you know?

Anyway, the movie was definitely better than the first one, although for me it lacked something. I totally didn't feel Bella's pain. Kristen Stewart didn't really show how much it hurt Bella when Edward, if you haven't read the book, you'd think she wasn't that affected, but I have read the book and Bella was more than devastated when Edward left, I just didn't feel that she channeled that emotion well enough. As for Jacob Black, I think Taylor Lautner could've used more scenes, but he didn't get enough exposure, but that's just me. As disappointed as I was with the film, a topless Taylor Lautner made up for whatever it lacked, and let's be honest, he's the only reason why I wanted to see the movie in the first place. As for Edward, WTF?! Am I supposed to find Robert Pattinson sexy after going topless with that kind of body? I mean seriously? I've seen pictures of him before I watched the movie, but then when I saw the movie, I was like, "was that it?". I didn't see any abs on him, did you? I mean not like Jacob's, you can tell Taylor Lautner buffed up and was sexy as hell in the film. I didn't think Robert Pattinson gave Edward Cullen, some justice in this second film, let's see how he does in Eclipse. Sorry, but that's how I feel. As for the other characters, I expected Emily, her scars, I mean, to look much worse, cause in the book, it described it this way,
The right side of her face was scarred from hairline to chin by three thick, red lines, livid in
color though they were long healed. One line pulled down the corner of her dark,
almond-shaped right eye, another twisted the right side of her mouth into a permanent
grimace.
in the movie, Emily didn't look at all that bad, and it didn't look like the right side of her mouth was pulled into a permanent grimace. I expected it to look a lot worse, but oh well.

By the way, have you noticed that Peter Facinelli, the actor who played Carlisle Cullen, looks so much like Tom Cruise? They even sound alike. I wouldn't have noticed until B told me. The Volturi was awesome by the way, I loved how sinister they looked, I love their eyes, I can't wait to see them in the big Battle scene on Breaking Dawn, it'll be really interesting to see how the director would interpret that scene from the book, I hope it turns out as awesome as it did in my head while I was reading the book.

So anyway, I can't wait to see the third installment in the series, I am hoping that it'll be much better and hopefully Robert Pattinson will be able to give Edward Cullen some justice.

In as much as I love Jacob Black and Taylor Lautner, I still haven't changed my mind, I AM STILL TEAM EDWARD, ALL THE WAY. Why? For the simple reason that I believe that Bella and Edward are meant to be together, I believe in their love and even though Jacob is sexy and everything you'd want in a guy, the heart wants what it wants and Bella's heart is screaming for Edward.

How about you? Have you changed your mind? I can't wait to see Eclipse!
