Holy Porscha!

In high school, I was totally a geek for cars. People thought it was weird because I am such a girly girl and yet I loved cars and motorcycles. It started when I had a crush on this boy who was so totally into them, so I had to learn his language to be able to establish a connection, it worked; And it surprised me that over time, I found cars and motorcycles quite fascinating, and even though I lost interest for that boy my love for cars and motorcycles stayed with me. One of the cars I have drooled over was the Porsche 911 (nine eleven) Series.

Do you know Sally Carrera from the animated film Cars? She's the town's (Radiator Springs) lawyer, voiced by Bonnie Hunt. She's a 2002 911 Porsche Carrera. She made race car superstar, Lightning McQueen go, "Holy Porscha..." and she has been named as one of the sexiest cars in the world by Top Gear, a UK automobile magazine, the number 1 automobile magazine in the world.

Back then I loved the 1976 Porsche 911 2.7 Series, kinda like Sally, but older. I absolutely loved the sleek design and I can only imagine how awesome it is to drive, what with its top speed at 220 km/h. I always wanted to feel the wind in my hair as I speed down a highway on a Porsche. I would so totally look awesome! I totally love it's vintage look as well, I still love it.

However, now I am drooling for the Porsche 911 GT3. I don't want to get all nerdy and give you detailed specifications of the car, that's what Google is for. However, here is a photo I found through Google and I just had to share it.

If this doesn't make you drool, then I guess you like Jaguar better.

One day I will totally own my own Porsche, and you'll see me on the internet shopping for hard to find Porsche 911 parts and accessories. LOL. There is nothing wrong with dreaming. I am a firm believer of the "wish fulfillment" theory, if wish for it hard enough then I know it will come true. Someday.

B prefers the Jaguar. I admit, it is pretty awesome, but I don't think I would look good driving a Jaguar. I still prefer the Porsche among any other car, even though it has never been named Car of the Year or Super Car of the Year by Top Gear. Jaguar XH was Car of the Year in 2006.

If we had the money to spend as we pleased, we both agreed that he'd get a Jaguar, I'd get a Porsche. I highly doubt he's going to get me one from the 911 Series, he's more likely to buy me a Porsche Cayenne. Just like the one Manny Pacquiao got for his wife, I think he doesn't trust me when it comes to driving, I don't know why. Do you think it has something to do with the fact that I have a tendency to be kind of reckless, and the yellow light to me means "speed up" and not slow down. LOL. I am just kidding! I'm so totally a safe driver, I love the speed, but I would never endanger anyone else.

Jacob Black and The Aston Martin V12 Vanquish

I really don't know much about cars and how they work. Sure, I can name the make and some models of cars, but I have no idea how its machinery works and all that kind of stuff. For example, I don't know what a head gasket is. I mean what the hell does that even do? Good thing Google is very helpful, so now I know that a head gasket "is a gasket that sits between the engine block and cylinder head in an internal combustion engine". It really isn't as complicated as it sounds.

Perhaps you are wondering why I am suddenly writing about head gaskets, well, no reason really, it's just that Jacob Black from the Twilight Saga seem to likes automobiles and I was curious about what the Aston Martin Vanquish looked like and guess what, it is awesome.

This car is so gorgeous, can you just imagine Jacob Black driving it? It would be 10 times more gorgeous than it already is! More so if Edward Cullen (from the novel, not Robert Pattinson!) was driving it! I bet not even Jacob Black would want to tinker with this gorgeous cars' engine, if it comes down to it, I bet even Jacob Black or Rosalie Hale, who was said to have a knack for mechanics as well, would be willing to go to a professional mechanic's shop like Los Angeles auto repair, I mean come on, we are talking about the Aston Martin Vanquish, it's not just some car like a Ford Explorer.

So anyway, I will be writing about the cars in Twilight, so watch out for that.

Cars and Men

A couple of days ago, while on his way home, B saw a car in the parking lot that he thought he would love me to have. It got him all excited and couldn't stop talking about it when he got home. It was funny how he got excited by merely seeing a car. I admit that I wasn't particularly listening to him at first, but then I felt guilty because he was all excited and everything, and so I stopped working for a while and took the time to listen to him. What he saw was 2009 BMW X3. He said that it was the perfect car for me, I don't know why exactly, he just said that I'd look good with the car. Hmm, okay B, whatever you say.

So anyway, here's a peek at what got B all excited.

Speaking of cars, I hear that Scion is also a good brand, and that scion parts are particularly good in terms of car parts and all that. I wonder if scion parts can be used on other cars too. Hmmm.

I am told that this Scion tc rims are sexy, what do you think?

Frankly, I don't care about cars at all, unless it's studded with diamonds that much, I know the different brands of cars and all that but that is as far as I know, I pretty much don't know anything about what scion tc parts are or scion xb accessories do to make the car better, but since it excites B it wouldn't hurt to find out more about things about cars and rims and stuff like that. So I am off to see Mr. Google. See you later!
