The Beach (2000)

I am longing to go to the beach. I haven't been to the beach in the longest time and I really miss the sun, the sand and the sea breeze. This week has been particularly stressful as I have been swamped in both work and household chores. I thought I would have it easy because I am my own boss, it turns out it's a lot harder. The pressure of making money is felt more than ever and that is because the amount of money I make is equal to the work I put in and right now, because I am still trying to figure out how to make my website look polished and professional, I am only taking on easy jobs that I can do on the side, just so I can earn a little something.

Anyway, it was definitely an awesome treat that I was able to catch the movie, The Beach on the Hollywood channel. It's been a long time since I last saw this movie and seeing a younger, fresher looking Leonardo DiCaprio was definitely a treat. I have told you how much I love him right? Well, if I haven't well then, let me tell you. I think he is an awesome actor and I love all his movies, except Romeo and Juliet, I think they butchered that story, but that wasn't his fault.

Back to the movie. Basically, this is a movie about a boy who is on vacation with his friends in Thailand and then someone gives them a map to the perfect beach. So they went to the beach and it was beyond beautiful. They discover a few people who live there and they join them. Everyone was just having fun until they find a field of marijuana and the trouble begins. Go watch it, Leonardo DiCaprio was hot. There were parts where it became boring, but still, the beach paradise was very dreamy! Definitely makes me want to go to the beach.

ANEticipating Movie: Inception*

In precisely an hour and 10 minutes, B and I will finally get to see Inception. I have been wanting to see Inception since last weekend when most of my friends on Twitter kept tweeting about how great the movie was and all that, and upon seeing the movie's trailer, how can I not want to watch it? It stars Leonardo DiCaprio, who I thought did an amazing job in Shutter Island, aside from being awesome in Titanic, Catch Me If You Can and The Man In the Iron Mask, those are some of his movies that make my list of favorite movies ever.

I studied psychology in college, so this is a topic I know I will be amused with. Okay, B is here and my coffee and blueberry cheesecake are almost gone, I'll leave you with the trailer of Inception.
