Pinoy English

Perhaps one of the best traits we Filipinos have is our sense of humor. Filipinos can find humor even in the most serious of situations. I guess that is why despite our country being poor and all, we manage to somehow be a happy people. I mean where else in the world can you find people who can laugh at themselves even through hunger, poverty and hardships?Free Userbars Only in the Philippines.Free Avatars

Of course, there are still some people who are so uptight and frown at the littlest of things, but it's great that they aren't that many. Anyway, I wanted to share this video made by a Canadian born Filipino. I was literally laughing my ass off when I was watching this video.Happy Emoticons Check it out!

It's funny because it's true.Happy Emoticons

It will probably sound insulting to some people (people who have no sense of humor and people who have sticks up their ass). LOL.Free Icons I love it because it's funny and it's a Filipino trademark, I think it's pretty awesome how we are gaining so much popularity because of it. Even Ellen DeGeneres loves the Filipino accent. Who wouldn't, it is so adorable! LOL.Free Icons

You know how much I love Ellen DeGeneres right?Free Icons Yes, she loves Filipinos too, she discovered Charice Pempengco and has given praise to Arnel Pineda and now Maria Aragon. She even said that the most talented singers are from the Philippines. She is so awesome. I watch her show religiously and I love that Mindy is back. For those of you who don't know Mindy (you should watch The Ellen DeGeneres Show more often!), she is Ellen's housekeeper and she is a Filipina. In the show's new segment, Ellen gives her a minute to give reviews about movies and stuff. Check out the latest from Mindy!

I am proud to be Pinoy! In the words of Mikey Bustos, "See you later heavy weighter and Pacquiao por Layf!". LMAO!Happy Emoticons

Payday Loans for the Holidays

The Christmas season is indeed upon us. I can feel it in the air. This is a time for sharing and a time for giving. I get all generous whenever this time of the year comes, I even give money to beggars, which I never do any other time, but Christmas is an exception. Yesterday, I felt especially Christmas-sy, why? Well, I got myself not 1, but 2 pairs of boots on a bargain. It was so cheap, it was a steal. After that I was just in such a good mood I didn't care about the fact that I am not entitled to payday loans. As you know, I work from home, although I work with several companies at a time, payday loans are just not one of the benefits I get. I guess that is a price I have to pay for working in the convenience of my own home, right?

I often imagine how it must feel like to be a millionaire and not have to worry about your finances for a change. If I had it all, I would probably be like Oprah and Ellen DeGeneres and giveaway lots of stuff for people who need it, but of course, I will splurge on myself, my family and friends too.

I seriously need to find an online job that offer payday loans as a benefit, so I can get one whenever I truly need it. Especially now that Christmas is coming, I have a daughter who knows Santa doesn't exist and expects a gift from Mommy, separate from Daddy, and a 2 year old who believes in Santa. Whoever came up with Santa Claus must not have had kids. No one can afford to be as giving as Santa these days, except if you're Oprah or Ellen DeGeneres. I guess that's why Santa has elves to make the toys then he won't need to buy them, clever.

Bad Credit Auto Loans with Fast Approval

If it's your first time here, you might want to subscribe to my RSS feed or via e-mail, check out my sidebar. You can also donate for my amusement fund or buy me coffee, whatever floats your boat. Thanks for being here, do leave your URL so I can return the favor! Have fun reading stuff that amuse me and I hope you find yourself amused too!

Everyone knows that a car has become a basic need nowadays, it is not just a want anymore. Having your own car entails you to be able to go to places more easily than using public transport and because you aren't waiting on someone, travel time is also a lot shorter. A 15 minute ride via a bus can take only a 10 minute drive because unlike public transportation, you don't need to stop at every bus stop and wait a few minutes for passengers. This is one of the reasons Ellen DeGeneres giveaway cars to select people who she thinks need it more than others. This week she gave a car away to a lady who had trouble making it into her job interviews because she drives a crappy car. She is way behind in her bills and is heavily indebted, Ellen gave her a new car and some cash money to help her get back on her feet. I'm sure that lady has a job now, if not, I'm sure she'll be able to get one soon.

Anyway, not all of us are lucky enough for Ellen DeGeneres to hand us keys to our very own car, but don't worry, even if you have a history of having bad credit but want a car then all you have to do is go to pierremoneymart.com and they will help you get a car with their bad credit auto loans, these type of loans usually take forever to be approved, but on pierremart.com they guarantee fast approval. I for one think that it is great that there are places like these who give auto loans to people who most need it. Just because you have bad credit or have had a history of bad credit doesn't mean you can't turn your life around, all you need is a little help and companies like these who give people a chance to make their lives better. So if you need a car, remember, go to pierremoneymart.com, refer to your friends who need it the most.

Why Is Reality TV Entertaining?

Have you ever wondered why people love reality tv shows? I am one of those people who love watching reality shows. I must admit, I watch it because I find people fascinating, they don't have to be real famous, but then if they are, hey, that's extra credit. LOL. I mean, people are really interesting. Just when you think you know a person, they throw you off track and do something completely unexpected, I guess that's why I love reality shows, you never know what to expect from them.

Reality shows are supposedly shows that are un-scripted and are supposedly un-edited, so that it will give off that "natural" vibe which is why it's called reality tv. However, some shows that claim to have this specific genre, sometimes make it seem too real to be real, which draws the conclusion that it was scripted.

One reality show that I think was not real at all was Jerry Springer. I know it's not real, I just don't have proof. I mean come on, some people can be sick and deceitful, but things that are aired on Jerry Springer seem too far out even for the really weird and sick. Things as extreme as those situations aired on Jerry Springer seem to be just that, extreme and not at all real. I don't know about you, but I'd like to think that people aren't that bad and that all people have some kind of a set of moral boundaries that I'd like to think they would never cross. So why did I watch Jerry Springer religiously? It may not be real real, but it's still pretty entertaining.

There are over a hundred reality shows on tv right now, and does one need to wonder why they are such hits? People love the drama. Recently, I found myself hooked on watching Tori and Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood, and I don't even like Tori Spelling or Dean McDermott! I guess it's just fun to watch people live their lives, famous people especially, because then we see that they aren't that different from ordinary people after all.

I will not be surprised if Tiger Woods will get his own reality show in the future, after all, a pro golfer who is recovering sex addict and who is trying to get his life back is a theme that will most probably grab the attention of folks like me who thrive on people's misery. Wahahahaha (evil laugh). LOL.

I love cooking reality shows like Project Runway, Top Chef, Iron Chef America and Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmares. I especially love Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares. Gordon Ramsay can be fierce and tactless, but then that's what you love about him, you just can't wait for him to curse and scream at someone. LOL.

I haven't seen American Idol lately, and the last Season I watched was the one with David Cook. I so love him. I want to see the current season now because Ellen DeGeneres is the newest judge and I just love her!

Do you like reality tv shows too?
